three months, Community Economics publishes
the El Topil newsletter.
"Topil" is a Zapotec word. Indigenous
communities appoint certain people as the
village communicators. These people are
the village "Topiles".
El
Topil provides rural indigenous
communities a way to interchange experiences.
Others involved with EDUCA's work find El
Topil useful for staying informed about
EDUCA's Community Economics activities.
As
of 2005, El Topil covers all theme which
relate to Educa's work. Prior to 2005, El
Topil covered themes specific to the Community
Economics Program.
