Castro Rodríguez.
Born in Mexico City. Degree in Rural Sociology,
Independent University of Chapingo.
Angélica
Rodriquez has focused in research on traditional
systems of government. Her completed research
projects include: a) The Individual Duty
and Responsibility System in San Jeronimo
Amanalco, Texcoco, Mexico (1998-1999). b)
Political Culture in Santa Maria Tlahuitoltepec
Mixe, Oaxaca (1999-2000). c) The Village
of Four Pillars: Study of the Individual
Duties and Responsibilities System in San
Dionisio Ocotepec, Oaxaca (2002-2003). She
has written an article titled “The
Individual Duties and Responsibilities System
As They Relate
to Migration”. (2003)
She has also served as an official
electoral observer of municipal
elections.
ASISTENTE
DEL PROGRAMA: Crispín Fabián
Mendoza.
From San Pedro Mixtepec, Miahuatlán,
Oaxaca of Zapotec origin. Speaks the Zapotec
Language.
Crispin
has been trained in themes related to municipal
government and administration: Introduction
to Municipalities, Public and Municipal
Administration, Legislation in Indigenous
Municipalities (2002-2003). He is currently
completing his Bachellor's Degree.
He
has served as a Legal Defender of Indigenous
Peoples • Promotor of Indigenous Human
Rights • Active Electoral Observer
of various electoral processes since 1998
• Participated in the International
Indigenous and African-American Workshop
titled “Indigenous Options and the
Process of Globalization”, Arequipa,
Peru - January 2003 • Has given workshops
in various municipal districts regarding
active citizenship.
